BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WITH TURKEY - Virtual Marketplace with B2B Sessions

VIRTUAL EVENT AGENDA 

Due to the Pandemic, which has caused an interruption to most of the face-to-face meetings have created a gap in supply chain and business activities. To overcome this inconvenience and to create a more efficient way of networking among the OEM’s buyers and suppliers, Aerospace Cluster Association of Turkey will be organizing a new type of virtual event where the buyer’s representatives and the suppliers in all TIER’s will be able to meet more efficiently and discuss sourcing as well as potential partnership opportunities. 


The event will be comprised of 3 different but complimentary sessions and networking activities namely: 

a. WEBINARS 

b. B2B Pitches

c. B2B Meetings 

How it works: 

a. WEBINARS: 

It is planned to have several webinars where many dignitaries and experts will provide related information on “How to do business in Turkey” especially in the fields of Aerospace and Defense, how to create long term mutually profitable partnerships, find the best value creating suppliers and discuss opportunities in the changing value chain of today’s new world order. 

b. B2B Pitches: 

In these sessions, experts and purchasing authorities of the European Companies working in the fields of Aerospace, Civil and Military Aviation and Defense will be able to explain their needs and expectations. Attendees will be Turkish Suppliers, equipment manufacturers and service providers as well as companies looking for potential partnership for creating business opportunities in Turkey and beyond. Since Turkish Companies have also access to many strategic growth markets in the MEA region as well as in the Stan states; B2B PITCHES is a great virtual place for the European Companies to pitch their portfolio of goods and services as well as their future expectations.

c. B2B Meetings 

A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners in face-2-face talks. 20 minutes run fast but it is enough to build first connections before the bell rings and the next talk starts.

2) Publish a business profile to showcase your needs

Create a clear and concise business profile to raise your visibility on this platform.
Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners and who you want to meet.
A good profile will generate significantly more meeting requests. Your profile will be visible before, during and after the event.


3) Browse profiles of attendees

Find out who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities


4) Send & receive meeting requests

Be active not reactive. Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet at the event. Adding a meaningful remark why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted. Usually, accepted meeting requests will be scheduled automatically. Thus you have immediate access to time and location of a meeting.

  • Everybody can send meeting requests to everyone
  • Incoming meeting requests have to be accepted to be scheduled

5) Matchmaking Event

  • Shortly before the event you will receive your meeting schedule by email.
  • A paper version may also be handed out at the registration desk.
